Live Playtests (Interviews with gameplay): How do I get set up?

​Before your Live Playtest time slot you should:

• Download the latest version of the app from the download link in the email;
• Have headphones ready to use;
• As always, make sure you're in a quiet place where you won't be disturbed;
• Remember to turn on the Do Not Disturb function on your device; and
• Ensure you have plenty of space free on your device, ready to download the game. 

When the time comes for you to prepare to join the session, our app will guide you to install the game on your device before you join the playtest. You can also install it ahead of time, which is a good idea in case any issues arise.

Important: Do not play the game until the interviewer has asked you to.

​You'll then be ready to take part! If you're no longer able to attend, please let us know as soon as possible using the "Can't make it?" link in the invite/reminder email. ​

Cancellations for interviews can occur, so please check your emails regularly in the lead up to a scheduled interview. If those cancellations are within a few hours of the scheduled session then you may be able to receive some of the reward amount. Please speak to the community team at help@playtestcloud.com
