I don't want to forget my interview! Can I be reminded?

Of course!

24 hours before your session, we'll send you an email asking you to confirm that you can still attend. This needs to be done by the time mentioned in the email, otherwise another tester will be automatically assigned your time slot.

We then send out 3 reminder emails before the allocated time slot mentioned in your invite. These will be sent:

  • 8 hours before;
  • 1 hour before; and
  • 12 minutes before.

This final one is set at 12 minutes because we request that you join the interview 10 minutes before the planned time. This is so that you are all set and ready to go when the time comes!

We do advise, though, that you check everything is working in the app way before that, in case any issues arise. Please report these at help@playtestcloud.com.

No longer able to attend?

If you're not able to attend the interview or a live playtest please let us know as soon as possible using the "Can't make it?" link in your invite email. This will let us know that we need to find another playtester to fill the time slot. Non-attendance without informing us will negatively affect your profile.

Cancellations for interviews

These can occur - we'll inform you via email. If a cancellation is within a few hours of the scheduled session then you will receive some of the reward amount. Please speak to the community team at help@playtestcloud.com if you have any questions.

Be careful: Your time slot will be cancelled if you become unsubscribed from our automated emails. This is because our system won't be able to provide any updates.
