What is the TestFlight app and how do I use it? - iOS only

The TestFlight app makes it easy for testers to trial unreleased versions of games, providing valuable feedback to developers before their apps are released on the App Store. It's a well-known safety measure, used by devs for sharing their works-in-progress.

How do I find it?

When receiving an email invite from us, you will find the link for the playtest included there. When you click the link, you will then be directed to the TestFlight app where you can install the test game. 

Setting up TestFlight

The TestFlight app can be accessed in 3 easy steps:

1. Find the app in the App store or by following the process in a playtest invitation email

   

2. When it has been installed and you open it, you will then see this page. Press the "Continue" button

   

3. Agree to the terms and conditions

   
   

   You are now all set up and ready to receive tests for unreleased games!

Don't forget...

Before you start to playtest the game, you should make sure that you activate the PlaytestCloud: Be a Playtester app, so that it records all your gameplay and then uploads to us while you play. If you do not activate the recording, your playtest will be incomplete.
