Reporting problems during a PC playtest
If you're taking part in a playtest and are experiencing issues, you should contact us at help@playtestcloud.com detailing what's going wrong. You should also send over screenshots of what isn't working correctly or of any error messages you're seeing.
What not to do:
If you are aware of the development company behind the game, you may feel the need to contact them directly. Please do not do this, as the test is being run through PlaytestCloud using our software. The devs will not be able to help you.
As the test is being run by us, developers are not able to:
- See your video and what you're experiencing
- Manage your access to a test
- Check out your PlaytestCloud profile
- Provide credentials
- Issue any type of rewards or compensation for a playtest set up by us
- Troubleshoot any issues with the PlaytestCloud app itself
- etc.
Contacting us at the above email will alert us to your issue and allow us to help you.
There is also the NDA to consider
Once you have agreed to the playtest NDA, talking about your test with anyone outside of PlaytestCloud is not permitted. This also includes writing to the developers or in any forums related to their games. Going against the NDA will have a negative impact on your profile and, depending on the severity, may result in further action.
