About our playtesting app

Our tester app is called PlaytestCloud: Be a Playtester. This has been in use since November 8th 2023 and can be found in the App Store and Google Play Store. If the app is required to record, it will be mentioned in the playtest invite under the Special Instructions section. 

As before, the app will not require a password. Instead, on installing it and entering the email address you use at PlaytestCloud, you will receive an email link which will allow you to connect your profile to the app.

iOS users:

• You will need to use iOS version 15 and above.
• You will also need to install the TestFlight app, as this is where you will find links to download and test unreleased games. You will be told in the playtest invite if the test will be using the TestFlight app. 

All playtesters - Don't forget:

When recording, you're recording your whole screen and therefore any notifications you receive, so it's a good idea to turn on Do Not Disturb. If something comes up and you need to leave the playtest for a short time, that's fine! You can return to it by reopening the app.
